I am mad with purity

I am mad with a purity that has nothing to do with morals, that is life in its most elementary atom, the simple and impoverished fact of each person being on the cusp of his death and waiting there alone, infinitely alone, eternally alone.
Purity is the most abundant matter on earth. Purity is like a dog: each time we meditate on the nothingness in our empty hearts, it comes back to sit at our feet and keeps us company.

This is something you've taught me, my love. You have taught me so much. First of all, you imprisoned me in your laughter like a schoolchild stuck at school in August, then you gave me back to the world with the duty to write about things as they are: abominably dark on the surface, miraculously pure beneath.
